Deep, intense ruby red colour; aromas of wild berry fruits with hints of vanilla; good structure; warm, stylish, slightly tannic flavour. Store in a horizontal position at about 16°C. Serve at 18-20°C.
After manual harvesting the bunches of grapes were placed in the destemmer for soft crushing. Maceration lasted about 18 days in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature, so that the wine could complete alcoholic fermentation at temperatures below a maximum of 29°C. The wine was pumped over twice a day at this stage. After racking the wine completed malolactic fermentation by the end of December. Subsequent ageing for 11 months in 225 liters French oak barriques. After filtering and bottling, the wine was aged in bottles for three months. Alcohol content 13%.
